ActiveImage Protector for Express5800/ft Virtual is a backup solution developed in collaboration with NEC for the virtual environment models of the Express5800/ft servers. It enables quick system recovery from "software failures" that cannot be prevented by hardware redundancy, through complete backups including the system and fast recovery. It allows for reliable and fast backup of the host systems and data volumes of virtual environments configured with Microsoft Hyper-V or VMware ESXi on the Express5800/ft servers using disk imaging. In the event of a failure, rapid restoration is also possible. By utilizing the advanced imaging technology of ActiveImage Protector that is compatible with the virtualization era, it further enhances the already excellent redundancy structure of the Express5800/ft servers into an ultimate high availability system environment. ActiveImage Protector 2018 is fully compatible with the centralized management console, ActiveVisor.
